Just Be Consistent
My Health and Wellness Story
Welcome—I’m really glad you’re here.
I’m Jennifer, and Castia Wellness was created from both my professional experience and a genuine passion for helping people feel better, function better, and take control of their health.
I’m a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in concussion rehabilitation and neurocognitive disorders. In my daily work, I help individuals navigate challenges like brain fog, memory issues, slowed processing, headaches, and fatigue—often after injury or during periods of high stress.
Through that work, one thing has become very clear:
Health is not just about avoiding illness—it’s about how you think, feel, and function every single day.
Where My Approach Comes From
Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, I earned my degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in motor development. That background shaped how I view the body and brain—as interconnected systems that rely on movement, recovery, and consistency to function well.
Over the years, I’ve seen how everyday factors can either support healing or quietly work against it:
- Sleep quality
- Nutrition
- Stress levels
- Screen exposure
- Physical activity
- Environmental factors
I’ve also seen how overwhelming and confusing the wellness space can be—full of trends, conflicting advice, and quick fixes that don’t hold up.
That’s why I approach everything here differently.
What You’ll Find Here
Castia Wellness is built on a simple goal:
To provide clear, evidence-based, and practical guidance you can actually use in your daily life.
You’ll find content focused on:
- Brain health and concussion recovery
- Cognitive performance and mental clarity
- Reducing fatigue, headaches, and overwhelm
- Wellness strategies that support long-term health
- Simple, realistic lifestyle changes that make a difference
I don’t believe in overcomplicating things or chasing trends. I focus on what works—and what is supported by both research and real-world experience.
My Philosophy
You don’t need to do everything perfectly to improve your health.
You need the right information, applied consistently.
My goal is to help you:
- Understand what’s actually happening in your body and brain
- Make informed, confident decisions
- Build habits that support long-term health and function
Because when you feel better, you show up differently—in your work, your relationships, and your daily life.
Products & Recommendations
You’ll occasionally see product recommendations on this site.
Some of these may include affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That said, I’m very intentional about what I share.
If I wouldn’t recommend it to a patient, a colleague, or use it myself—it doesn’t get included here.
Why This Matters to Me
After years in the medical field, I’ve seen the long-term impact of both neglecting health—and taking care of it.
Small, consistent choices matter more than people realize.
And the earlier you understand that, the more control you have over how you age, function, and feel.
Final Thought
If you’re here, you’re likely trying to:
- Feel more like yourself again
- Improve your focus or energy
- Reduce symptoms that are affecting your daily life
- Or simply take better care of your health
That’s exactly what this space is for.
